I tried the volcano roll and it was very good. Price is just right.

The sushi here is pretty good. The location is great. The staff is friendly. The water bottles that they give you look the water bottles that hockey players use that's why 4 stars instead of 5.

It was really good and i loved the tempura and avocado rolls and i went with a lot of people and it was the best day of my life and i would go back to the restaurant again with all my school friends and teachers .

My wife and I had a lovely dinner, sitting outside, on a really nice comfortable Saturday night. I've walked by alot of times and we finally got to go. It's a quaint place with an excellent menu featuring many combos at a really great price. Portions were better than most other comparable Japanese restaurants and the food: unagi don, sashimi, California roll, beef teriyaki, chicken wings were all excellent, such that we're both looking forward to coming back.

Really lovely food and good service. The chairs are comfortable and you don't have a long wait.

Delicious and at a great price

I love the food and service there, it's a bit pricy compared to other sushi places but the quality of food is excellent and fresh. Sometimes they have promotions as well especially beers. Highly recommend for small group parties and group outings. A good option to check out for sushi dates too.. 🙌

Good quality, good food

Not amazing. The patio was nice. Spicy beef roll was okay. I really wanted to like this place but it was just what you expected nothing more.

Ok for basic everyday Japanese, nothing extra special. Was relatively empty on a Fri eve. Kid friendly. My 3 yr old left happy.

I went to the Japanese restaurant with my friends. I had beef teriyaki for lunch and I thought it was awesome. The server was nice. I will like to go back and have chicken teriyaki with no rice. And thank you to the chefs.

The food was good and it was pretty great that I would come some other day when I would want to go right there anytime.

Cheap Beer, Cheap Eats, Great Staff.... New HauntHave been going to Nikkyu for the better part of 2 years and it's become not only my go-to sushi joint, but my crew's local haunt. Whether it's before a Canadians game or after, we always hit up the 'kkyu for some cheap beers and surprisingly decent cheap sushi. The best part though, has to be the attentive and friendly servers and hosts who always make a visit to Nikkyu worth the trip.If you're on the fence or looking for a new spot to hang, get a seat on the patio, plug in your music device and enjoy one of Main Street's best under-the-radar spots!

I went to the Japanese restaurant I ate California Roll and gyoza too. I really like the food very much. There were 15 people.

CHEAP BEER*** but need to order food to drink which is never a issue. The whole menu is great! The patio is huge and has a aux cord so you can play your own music if you like.

Nice atmosphere. Not expensive. Good costumer service. Very good food. Yams and asparagus sushi roll is delicious. Totally recommend it if you don't want to spend too much money and want to eat good Japanese food.

This is one of my two favourite places in the world, number one being our cabin in the Gulf islands. Every single time I have gone here (about 40 times or so) I have had excellent service and amazing food. Not to mention the drink prices!! Every staff member does their best to treat you well and I'll be coming back here as long as I live. Thank you Nikkyu for being such a huge part of my life and a great member of the community.

the price is very good, with 48 cad. we bought 2 rolls a soup a tempura order and a beer pitcher.

This is the best cheap sushi on Main. Not pretentious, has everything you can think of ordering and has cheap beer/saki/saki bombs. They also have outdoor seating and heaters where you can play your own music.

The place is quiet, lovely. Food is really good and the service is perfect. They give you free tea when you arrive, and they have a great viarity of ingredients and dishes. Very nice.

Sapporo pitchers are cheap and the sushi is fresh. Very kid friendly too!

The staffs were really nice and accommodating. The sushi was good but the ramen tasted hmm, I am not sure how to explain it but my kids didn't like it either. I suspect it's the bamboo shoots in there that made it taste too strong. But it's cheap for a big portion of food, you really can't go wrong here it's a cozy place for sushi.

Amazing prices, sometimes the service wasn’t as attentive as they could be I found it hard to get their attention sometimes but that wasn’t too much of a bother.

Underrated. Clean food and good service. Plus the lack of trendy crowd means you can stay without being flipped for the next client.

Me and the group go to your place and the food is amazing. the server is kind and love it . I have a California roll and undo soup for lunch thanks you guys rocks.

The sushi was not as good as other times I've had it and the veggie dumplings just were not good, they had a weird plasticky taste, though costumer service was okay.

I liked the King California Roll for Lunch. The server was lovely, and kind.

I ordered through Doordash today and there was some kind of system error with them. This restaurant consistently helped me to find out what is going on and offered me sending their own delivery. The food was absolutely great and their service was incredibly awesome. I would definitely order here again! (Not through DoorDash tho).
